Lauren Balistreri
Lauren grew up in California and obtained her degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She worked in design in Manhattan and Silicon Valley before starting at IMOS.
Lauren has been at IMOS for over a decade and has been in the role of President since 2017. Her key initiatives in this role have been: Improving employee benefits, modernizing the work philosophy to give employees more autonomy and flexibility, and bringing in tools and resources to improve efficiency and quality.
As she looks to the future for IMOS she aims to balance developing products and services, expanding the client base, and continuing to foster a supportive inspiring work environment. She strives to challenge her team, presenting them with new projects and situations, empowering them to progress in their careers and their fields.
In her free time she enjoys making things. Cakes, pots, leather purses, small furniture, clothing, and soon light fixtures. You can see her projects HERE
When the pandemic and subsequent quarantine hit in 2020 she started an Instagram resource for her community. What’s Open Santa Cruz posts and shares for local businesses, close to a year later it has over 4,500 followers and has shared as many posts and stories to help support local business.
